Shree Govardhandas Bhabha

Panditji on his return from Himalayas met Shree Govardhandas Bhabha, Chairman, Bhabha Marine Insurance Company Karachi (now in Pakistan), the pioneer donor at Dwarika, Bhabha a ‘Grahasthi Saint and person of high philanthropic nature was highly impressed by Panditji when he first met him at Dwaraka. After having valuable communication, Panditji conveyed his mission to Honourable Bhabha. Gradually, the help from Bhabha and his friends encouraged the work of Panditji. Bhabha visited Khadagada many times from Karachi. To acknowledge his eminent Contribution and initiative, Sanskrit Pathshala was named as “Shree Govardhan Sanskrit Vidyalaya (now Mahavidyalaya)”.

Shree Jamanadas Madhavji Tanna

One of the most precious friend of Shree Bhabha, Shree Jamanadas Madhavji Tanna, a man of high human value and a genuine vaishnav, inspired by Shree Bhabha started helping the institution in many ways. Not only he helped but also inspired his friends and family members too for this sacred mission. He also started visiting Khadagda as many times as possible and his help was growing year after years. Recognizing his association and helping nature the high school was named as Shree Jamnadas Madhavji High School.

Shree Maharaval Saheb

Maharaval Laxman Singhji of Dungarpur helped this cause of Education and social service in as many ways as possible. During his rule, prior to indenpence (15th August 1947). This philanthropical and helping nature is being given even today by his Hon. successors and family members.

Shree Arvindbhai N. Mafatlal

One of the illustrious industrialist of the country gave his sympathy and support and also visited Khadagda many times. He appreciated the services of the institution and was happy to see the work done in rural, backward and tribal district of Dungarpur, Rajasthan.

Shree R.S. Bhatt Saheb

The founder Chairman of UTI took keen interest in the activities of institution and visited Khadagda repeatedly. He express his total satisfaction and ask his friends to help this institution.

Shree Shivshankarji Sharma (IAS, Ex. Home Comm. of Raj.)

Son of Panjitji’s elder sister, proved himself as heart and soul of the institution. Not only he helped in many ways but he also uplifted the spirit of teachers and other members of the institution. Shree Haridevji Joshi (Ex. C.M. of Raj.)

Shree Govardhan Sanskrit Mahavidyalay

Shree Govardhan Sanskrit Mahavidyalay is affiliated to Sanskrit Vishva Vidyalay, (SANSKRIT UNIVERSITY) Jaipur, Rajasthan. With the growing educational requirements of the surroundings, Shree Govardhan Sanskrit Vidyalaya (established in1933) was up-graded to Shree Govardhan Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya in the year 1975. University Grants Commission of India (UGC)has acknowledged it as The institution of National Eminence. At present 500 students are taking privilege of education from higher secondary to Post Graduation (PG) Classes (i.e. Upadhyaya, Shastri, Aacharya). It is rendering educational services to the poorest and needy students of the region. Free education, lodging, boarding and scholarships are provided to poor students irrespective of cast , creed or gender.

Shree Jamnadas Madhavji Higher Secondary School

Looking at the need of the time J.M. High School (at present Sr. Higher Secondary School) was commissioned in the year 1954 to provide education in Science and Humanity Group. In the year 1969, 11th class was started. The higher secondary school has good library and is equipped with very good science laboratory facilities. It is a matter of great proud that many alumnae of this institution are doctors, engineers, IAS, RAS, professors and occupying other senior positions in Government and private organizations.

Smt.Mohitben C Bhimjiyani Ved Vidhyaly

Affiliated to Sanskrit academy of Rajasthan, selected students are provided training under versified and qualified Guruji at Ved Vidyalaya. Chanting of ved mantras in oneness create a unique atmosphere, recalling age-old conventional Rishikul Parmpara, conserving the heritage of Indian glory and culture. It has been taken as a national responsibility and is being paid total attention since its starting.

Yagya-Shala, Jyotish and Karmkand Vibhag

Right from the beginning of the institution, this faculty is preparing students in conventional prinicples of Yagya, Jyotish and Karmkand. The faculty has a wide range of experience and large number of brilliant students from this faculty are serving the society with a deeper and scientific knowledge of these faculties. Not only that it is preserving the heritage but simultaneously, it is serving the welfare cause of the people. In the year 1993, Param Pujya Morari Bapu was kind enough to bless, Ved Vidyalaya during his nine day ‘Rama Katha’ at Khadagada. This institution is fortunate enough and is getting blessings from Rev. Shri Morari Bapu even at present.

Bhagawat Vidya Peeth

In the year 1997, Rev. Pujya Bhaiji ( Shri Ramesh Bhai Oza) blessed this institution with ‘Shrimadbhagawat Saptah’ and this institution was once again fortunate to have a precious satsang for the poor people around. During his Bhagawat Saptah, Pujya Bhaiji inaugurated “ Moti Ben C. Bhimjyani Bhagawat Vidya Peeth” at Khadagada which is now a unit of very high value to the institute and surrounding people.

Harihar Chhatravas / Madhavji Vishram Chhatravas / Aadivasi Chatravas

Chaatravas (Hostels) facilities are available for highly subsidized rates and free for poor and needy students.

MANAGEMENT

Shree Govardhan Vidya Vihar has a three tier management system for its different requirements

1. Board of Trustees

Board of Trustees Since beginning the entire movable and immovable property is Registered as Charitable Public Trust. Persons of high integrity and social importance have remained as trustees of the institution. Being at the high administrative level, the board decides the policy matters and keeps sharp observation on the functioning and forthcoming development programs. The Managing Trustee is convener of the board.
