Almost a century ago a son was born in the home of a poor Brahmin couple, Bhanudutt and Yamuna Ba Dixit on 4 th of April, 1904 i.e.Chaitra shukla Panchami, Samvat 1961 in Khadagada, a small village on the bank of river Moran, situated in the interior- an almost inaccessible area of tirbals dominated Dungarpur district of Rajasthan. Disaster struck this family His father Shri Bhanudutt Dixit died suddenly at the young age of 47. He was left helpless in this world at the age of seven with the debt burden of Rs. 700. He received his education during the second decade of 20th Century under the kind supervision of learned relatives far away from his own village. The bitter experience of poverty, the illetracy of young generation in his village and the near by areas, and the worries of the guardians about their ward’s education, started revolt in his soul. His restless soul was filled with an ambition to leave no stones unturned for providing educational facilities to his people. He determined to start a school at KHADAGADA. He knew that it was a Herculean task .He was interrogated by his inner self, “HOW CAN YOU OPEN AND RUN A SCHOOL WITHOUT FINANCIAL BACKGROUND OR ANY OTHER SUPPORT. The inner voice asked “WHY DO YOU SEEK THE HELP OF EARTHLY KINGS? WHY DON’T YOU PRAY FOR THE SUPREME BLESSINGS OF THE ALMIGHTY?”

Panditji took resort in the Himalayas and passed six long years in meditation and spiritual enlightenment. With the togetherness and blessings of spiritually enlightened Yogis and Sadhus his supreme confidence got uplifted. He spent his six long years continuously in the Himalayas during his age between 21 and 26. His Guruji blessed him and ordered him to go home with an assurance that his dream would be realized beyond his expectation. Thanks to His blessings, Panditji’s dream have been realized so miraculously.

On his way back he happened to meet Sheth Shri Govardhandas Bhabha, at Dwaraka(Gujarat), who assured him to provide all the necessary support in this noble cause.
